Good questions.  I might think if it made it this far it might be OK.  It might be outside the range if it's a later 06, would need to check the VIN.  In case of bad engine range it can be inspected to see if it is worn.  First thing would be to get the VIN.  Not a bad looking vehicle for the less firm price maybe, but it did not have the tow package so utility would be limited.
