I have had zero ... ZERO ... success buying anything (never even got a
response) from car-part.com listings.
I did OK with chat at Airport Auto in Jackson Michigan, and never had
problems getting someone to talk to me by calling the phone numbers
associated with the listings.
Did occasionally have trouble with the end result, like a place in
Oregon selling me a left knee airbag for a price more appropriate for a
right knee airbag (score!), and then shipping me a right bag I didn't
need or want. Oh, sorry about that. Keep the right bag and we'll send
you a left bag the next time we get one in. (never heard back from them,
surprise)
