The 05E320 wagon munched the tensioner pulley the day after I got it, late at night.  Had to call a friend to come collect me, I was about 100yd from another friend's farm so pulled into a field and left it there.  I should have dealt with it as I heard it screaming on the way home from Hilton Head, surprised it did not fail on the trip, out in the middle of the ACE Basin with gators around.

I feel for you.  Ts & Ps headed your way...

The tensioner idler pulley had seized, and burned up the belt.  Today I robbed
that pulley off of Barney, another E320, and we're planning to go back tomorrow
to put it (and a new belt) on the car and ferry it home.  Bringing jumper 
cables along.
