Thank you all for your advice on the fuel filters. I replaced them and the car runs fine now. Definitely a stream of bubbles in the inline filter so I will have to check the hoses by the tank.
Unfortunately I’m now hearing a rattling noise up front by the engine. I’m of course worried that this could be the vacuum pump. Is that what a failing vacuum pump sounds like? Anything else I should be concerned about?
