I initially bought a 3HP, 21” electric one when we first moved to southeast WI. That lasted one season, not even the whole season, before I got a “real” IC powered 30” blower with tracks, shield, hand warmers, the whole monty. I did, however, get a b*dass 10GA arctic rated extension cord when I got the electric one. I still have the cord, and it’s great for power tools. No voltage drop whatsoever.
