The average pickup truck buyer is all sizzle and no steak.

A friend of my neighbor asked to borrow my truck to move some stuff with. He's
got a couple year old Chevy 2500 in perfect condition. I asked why he didn't
just use his own truck. "I don't want to get mine dirty. Yours is rusty."

What I told him doesn't bear repeating but he didn't get to use my truck...

Truly, an ugly truck. Why are the manufacturers trying to make the
pickup trucks look so huge?
I sort of understand trucks becoming taller given they are pretty much
all 4 wheel drive now, but I don't really understand the tall hood and
massive grill. They are putting smaller engines in - V6 turbo rather
than V8 in most now so one would think the front clip might be able to
be made smaller rather than larger.
