Eh, I panicked after I spoke to my tire guy. So I went to Tire Rack and found
the exact Continental tire. There were others, but they were stupid expensive,
like over $200. Yikes! I had done a requisite Internet search using the tire
size and brand, and every listing I found said it was NLA. I’m going to talk to
my dealer parts guy on Monday and see what they charge for a complete spare, or
if they even offer one, just to get a point of reference.

The correct Continental tire, shipped to a tire place a few blocks away (my
tire guy apparently doesn’t do Tire Rack) will be a grand total of $156.00
installed. It will be here on Wednesday.

The car has brand new Michelin Pilots, so I’m not too worried about needing a
spare in the immediate future.

Good data point, now I know. Since this is Mrs. Dan’s primary ride, all safety
systems and components must be at 100% operating capacity.
