Might have something to do with prices I found on normally cheap grade
fluids after Curt's tractor transmission thread.
My local oil expert says:
Motiva and Chevron being down at the same time will turn the group 2
market on its head.
But most places are stocking up from what I can tell.
However it’s going to make group 3 products a bargain.
Group 2 products are your “conventional” products. Hydraulic oils, gear
oils, non full synthetic motor oils.
Group 3s are considered full synthetics in the US.
