Greetings all, It’s roughly time for my annual MB diesel report and obligatory inquiry. There are rumors that my SIL will be the new owner of W123 240D. The family lives in WI which limits my diesel assistance to verbal support over the phone. But he enjoyed a prior career as a diesel mechanic so I’m content to be a hands off consultant. We still breath a big sigh of nostalgia whenever someone mentions the 74 W113 240D that I sold far too soon. The best automobile ever to roam the earth IMHO. Ok now here’s the question: How does one free up a frozen engine block. It’s a V12 Jag not a Benz but I wager someone here has succeeded in doing it. Not sure if it’s overheated or merely rusted.
