change your fuses. Must have something there. I do that ritual for the ED, just to make the wife look at me strange. Her car, so what can it hurt?

As you turn sharply, the oil is being forced outward, thus causing the

which should be near the max level.... Had this issue with a old VW on
sharp turns, talking about 1 1/2 quarts oil capacity

The oil level circuit board in the instrument panel may beginning to go haywire. I fixed this problem by swapping in a later model fuel/oil/coolant gauge cluster, which contains that circuit. I think this is a fairly common failure mode. Mine presently comes on just when the oil level reaches the lowest mark on the dipstick, but it used to do it whenever I made a sharp
lefthand turn.

I was driving around town today in the 300D, and just as I got on the
highway entrance ramp I saw the oil light come on. I immediately parked
and
turned the car off and waited a few minutes. As I turned it off, I saw
that
the oil pressure was correct, and after shutdown I confirmed that there
was
oil in the crankcase. After a few minutes of panic I turned the car back on, and the oil light wasn't on and the pressure behaved as it should. It
didn't come on the whole way home (~3 miles).

What the hell happened? Kaleb says it's just the car's way of telling me
to
check the oil.
