Looks to me like an IHC Metro but there was a time in the '50s when there were a ton of manufacturers putting out panel delivery trucks like that. Stick and OM 617 in and it could be a really cool ride. -Curt Date: Wed, 14 Jun 2006 19:07:42 -0700 From: redghost <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subject: [MBZ] ArcticQ Support truck To: Mercedes List <[email protected]> Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Content-Type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII; format=flowed

I will tie a test light to the fuel pump and one to the negative side of coil and test it. If it all looks OK I will add a Fuel pressure gauge to the mix... Do I remember > correctly in that the fuel pump relay is known for bad solder joints? I don't think it's a particular problem, but it can happen. First I'd pull it and clean its contacts. It would be fairly easy to tap that signal with a wire to a meter so you could see if it was cutting out. Also, an ignition problem might not affect the tachometer given that there's a fair bit of circuitry betwixt tach signal and spark. -- Jim _______________________________________ http://www.okiebenz.com For new parts see official list sponsor: http://www.buymbparts.com/ For used parts email [EMAIL PROTECTED] To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com
