For what it’s worth, I’m doing the back brakes on the 1998 W210 wagon my oldest 
son drives. I got a set of Akebono ceramic pads from Amazon for $47.00 and a 
pair of rotors and new disc set screws from Mercedes for about $125. Pads are 
here, I’m picking up rotors when I go into the office tomorrow.

Doing an axle for under $200 is good for me, especially since it’s the rears as 
they’ll last a lot longer than the fronts.
