IN EUROPE there are about a dozen makers of anti-freeze that meet
Mercedes specs. All of the MB anti-freeze sold in the US is made by
Valvoline - most is sold to Mercedes and the remainder is sold as Zerex
G-05. The Peak Lifetime meets the Mercedes specs as well. NOTHING
Prestone makes comes even close (despite their claim to the contrary -
look for the Mercedes spec number on their data sheet - it isn't there)!

Now G-05 is not the only antifreeze product from Zerex, right? Must be sure that it is G-05? Is there a MB spec number on the bottle that indicates some documentation / requirement that it meets? Or is this info only findable from the manufacture?

Its funny Peak was a 'discount brand' at HiLow store around here during the glycol 'shortage' in the 90's. An was considered cheaper than Prestone (in marketing terms, yes I read Dilbert) Go figure..
