I filled up the 2018 RAM 1500 v6 yesterday, the first tank where I've done all the driving. Turned in 21.6mpg. The computer said 22.4 so pretty close.
A significant part of that is woods driving to and from the place I hunt pheasants which is slow and hard on mileage. I think 25 should be easily achievable on a long highway run. 2 weeks ago we took the '18 and the old 2010 to Maine, I'm keeping the old truck as a farm vehicle. The old truck netted 18mpg calculated by hand. The guy driving the new truck said the computer marked it at 24mpg. The old truck was happy around 73mph so I kept it there mostly. We hustled on the way home and got around 21. Overall I'm pretty happy with the truck so far. -Curt On Monday, November 21, 2022 at 09:15:15 PM EST, dan penoff.com via Mercedes <mercedes@okiebenz.com> wrote: I’m going to be road tripping over the holiday and driving the 2008 ML550. I will be really interested to see what kind of mileage I end up with on this beast. I keep extremely detailed records, which since the purchase of the car in May of this year show that I’m averaging 15.89 mpg. Considering that the bulk of my driving is short trips, this doesn’t come as a surprise. I took a relatively long trip this past weekend of about 160 miles that was nearly all highway, and the computer said I averaged nearly 20 mpg for it. This week’s trip will be far longer (going down to south Florida and back) so it should be an even better indicator of what this beast will do on the highway. Better than 20 mpg, I hope… -D > On Nov 21, 2022, at 8:57 PM, Robert Massmann via Mercedes > <mercedes@okiebenz.com> wrote: > > My calculated average of total miles driven divided by total gallons purchase > is 32.9 currently. > > Bob Massmann > > -----Original Message----- > From: Mercedes <mercedes-boun...@okiebenz.com> On Behalf Of Kaleb Striplin > via Mercedes > Sent: Saturday, November 19, 2022 6:36 PM > To: Mercedes Discussion List <mercedes@okiebenz.com> > Cc: Kaleb Striplin <ka...@striplin.net> > Subject: Re: [MBZ] this Diesel averages 27 MPG and has 455 Lb-Feet Torque > 2013 Mercedes GL350 BlueTec Diesel 4Matic- Under BlueTec Warranty! - $18, 850 > (Charlotte NC) > > Did you have calculate that?
