I think you all should chip in and help me obtain my life long dream of a green on green 115.
This obsession started when I was 16 looking for my first car. I recall looking at 3 different places. One was at a used car dealer that sold cars at an indoor warehouse. That car was a 76 300D green on green. I later kicked myself that I didn’t buy that one. Next went to a guy who had an ad in the Autotrader magazine. He owned a paint and body shop for semis and the ad was a pic of the back of this shop with all these parts cars back there. Went and looked and he had a white on red 76 300D, and a 74 240D that was that dark burgundy. It just had a new paint job on it (the guy owned a body shop), and was amazing. Didn’t buy it either. Last place was at the old VW dealer in Tulsa, Colorado beige 79 240D auto with 48k miles. Bought that one for $5500. Now in later years I’m obsessed with finding a green on green or a white with red interior 115.
