I have to admit I don't miss worrying if my 240D would start in sub zero
temperatures. I don't think I ever got one to start unassisted below -10F. My
'98 Jetta TDI started unassisted at -20F once. It's never been that cold since
I got my '15 Jetta TDI but I bet it would start no problems well into negative
double digits.

Looked at the listing photo and made me think of my first Mercedes a 240D
with stick shift. Someone decided that I didn't need hub caps and took all
four. At that time, I had trouble trying to replace them. Dependable ride,
but winters weren't much fun. I think I had it in the mid-80's, do not
remember what year it was?
