Dimitri., I have used atf for power steering fluid, on a 87 and on a 92 w124 The 92 was leaking badly , the leaking stopped while I was waiting for the proper fluid to arrive. I am leary about putting the correct fluid in. ________________________________ From: Mercedes <mercedes-boun...@okiebenz.com> on behalf of mercedes-requ...@okiebenz.com <mercedes-requ...@okiebenz.com> Sent: Monday, February 13, 2023 11:28 AM To: mercedes@okiebenz.com <mercedes@okiebenz.com> Subject: Mercedes Digest, Vol 207, Issue 68

If that had AC AZ Bob would be on it like a hobo on a hotdog as he says. Message-ID: <908101979.1005296.1676305652...@mail.yahoo.com> Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8 I *think* so. I'm pretty sure thats what I used although back when I still had a 190D we had a great autoparts store in town that carried stuff like Pentosin power steering fluid. I just went and checked and I've still got part of a liter of Pentosin in the garage. I suspect I used that. Realistically all it has to do is not foam and not eat the seals. I *think* regular PS fluid would be fine. Worst case you run that until you can use that until the "right" stuff shows up. The stuff I have is: https://www.amazon.com/Pentosin-1405116-Long-Life-Mercedes-Benz-Volkswagen/dp/B002WTHW26/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=pentosin+chf+11s&qid=1676305625&sprefix=pentosin+%2Caps%2C100&sr=8-1 -Curt On Monday, February 13, 2023 at 11:17:30 AM EST, Dimitri Seretakis <dsereta...@yahoo.com> wrote: Can I use off the shelf generic ps fluid from ace hardware?
