What mounts did you use?

break it and the thing still would not stay up. It has a ball socket with a
slot in the bottom to allow the camera to be tilted downward as needed. The
problem is, you seem to have to not allow the slot to be somewhat under the rod
of the ball joint or the camera falls. You have to have the slot pointed to
one side which will hold the camera up, but this somewhat limits how and where
you can point them. Having this slot in a position to where I can have the
camera pointed exactly where I want it will cause the camera to drop, so I have
to compromise the pointing.
