For $69 and a lifetime warranty, that seems like a lot better than some of the alternatives.  We shall see.

I have this 450SEL up on the lift putting the finishing touches on it which
today is replacing the axle shafts. Since this car is a flipper I ordered the
trackmotive IIRC axles from rock auto that were around $49 each. They arrived
the other day and while they fit, they have to be extended so far out that the
boots are stretched and distorted. They also seem light weight. I then ordered
the Cardones that are $69. The other ones are being returned. Anyway, the
Cardones arrived today and the pretty much look identical to the OE ones. The
fit perfectly and seem to be decent quality from what I can tell. Since I will
not be keeping the car, I won’t know how they do long term but I am willing to
install them on one of my keeps to find out. The axles are not really hard to
pull, especially with a lift. Had them out and back in well under an hour.
