An inventive guy with free time, an externally regulated alternator, a drive belt, and an old weed wacker could probably come up with something. I saw a 1kw generator in this week's ad from Meijer supermarkets, they have it on sale for $109.97. I don't know if it's two stroke or four stroke, but it sure looks small, probably 110v only.
