Never at my house -- don't know if it's my eyes or the fact I don't usually ever watch TV, but a buddy of my did a "quick demonstration" and they look exactly the same to me -- TV pics, blurry, pixelated, and off color, and they smear movement.
About the same resolution as mediocre 16mm film. Out of focus portions of the image look horrible on the ones my BIL and I looked at last weekend.
