I doubt anyone will bid more than $4k given the condition it's in.

"The speedometer was rebuilt in August 2013 by Mike’s Auto Service in
Greenwood, Indiana. The left blinker lens has fallen into the gauge cluster.

"Yes, this is the perfect car for someone who is good at paint. Full
upholstery/headliner using leather from a reputable shop here in Indiana
was $3200. There is no body rust underneath or on fenders, doors or
rockers. The listing shows a picture of a complete seal and felt kit
purchased from Otto Classics. Made in Europe. Cost was $1250. A/C works
well and temp control works as well. New fan. All windows and seat belt
retrievers function well. About 6 months after I purchased her, the
original timing chain broke and damaged a piston. Subsequently, I had the
engine pulled and rebuilt by a very reputable mechanic who specializes in
Mercedes. His name is Jon Faulstick from Lakes Engineering in Ruthven,
Iowa. Top notch. She runs perfect."

Looks like the perfect beater car.
