Call them a Mustang II, whatever, all I can say is the one I owned for many years and put around 70k on during my ownership was a pretty bulletproof car. Like any MB, there are some issues to deal with, like the blower controller (similar to the W124) that’s NLA, but that’s probably the worst thing I can think of.
