Consider it to be rust proofing and leave it alone?

Completed it over the course of about 3 weekends. Spent 2-3 hours taking it
apart bagging up the hundreds of bolts in separate bags per section of the job.
Spend the whole next day, followed by the next weekend cleaning up the top of
the engine, in the valley, cleaning out the valve ports, and the manifolds.
This past weekend I probably spend 5 hours reassembling on Saturday and another
4 hours Sunday. Car is back together and appears leak free as far as I can tell
so far. I appear to have a bad back pressure sensor and I apparently didn’t get
the intake air temp sensor clicked back in as it blew out and broke it on the
test drive. Put in a parts order to start the same job on the GL next week.

Currently I have the car up in the lift checking for leaks and the underside is
horribly grimy from all the oil. With it on the lift I’m thinking about putting
down drip trays, soaking it with engine degreaser, followed by blasting it off
with steam cleaner, then maybe red brake cleaner followed by more steam.
Anybody have any better ideas?

Btw the HF steam cleaner is on sale for $89 currently.
