By the time your book hit the stores in 1965, the Corvairs on the dealer lots had proper IRS, and the only thing wrong with them was weight of the six cylinder engine hanging off the back of the transaxle like a Porsche 911.

That's something I didn't realize before today.
Chevy fixed the car in the model year changeover in late 1964, and Ralph's book came out in 1965.
