Got home last night with a stinky 190D from all the diesel fuel coming out of
the return lines. It seemed like if I kept it right around 3100 rpm or so the
smell was alot less but any faster and the smell came back. Of course the world
did everything it could (red lights, slow drivers, people cutting me off) to
prevent me keeping it in that range.
After letting the car cool off I replaced all the return lines and the plug
at the end. That was an easy job, why did I ever put off doing that?
Then I tackled the driver's side washer squirter that I'd been putting off.
Lemmie tell you thats one job thats easier than on a W123. On my 240D I had to
break the old squirter to get it out. The "bad" (really just hopelessly
plugged) one came right out and the new one went right in. A couple minutes to
get it aligned and it works like champ.

Next job is that PS pump.
