Rootbeer is easy to make and you can find quite a few kits on the net. I was
selling rootbeer kits myself but it's really not my main product line & I
stopped.

I did some rootbeer and gingerbeer for the kids.  Really make a mean Ginger.
I use yeast for carbonation.  As long as you take the care that you would
with standard beer in selecting ingredients and being sterile and clean, you
should make a fine soda
