I thought that 'never been raced' might be in reference to some kind of
hot rod, like Casey's intercooled 603, or some of the CrazyFinn stuff.
In reference to a stock but well-worn 300d, it does sound pretty silly.
I also have my doubts about the 36mpg claimed.
