On my '85 300D the fuel gauge reads full all the time and the temperature gauge starts at the bottom but pegs out after a while. The tanks is not always full and the engine is not that hot. The oil pressure gauge being mechanical works. Having a problem finding a replacement gauge at a reasonable price. Has anyone done a repair to fix this? I suspect a bad ground but electrical work is not my strong suit.
