Anyone have advice as to what to look for in a 97 GMC K1500 6.5 Turbo Diesel?

I think this is silly, given that the heat is _coming_ from the
heads. A heat sink only cools things if it's sitting in a cooler
ambient than the thing it's bolted to. In this case, perhaps an
insulating heat shield in conjunction with a fresh cooling air feed
might be more appropriate.

When I was at a trade show once in Vegas it was 115 degrees and the AC
in our cab was broken. We rolled _up_ the windows because it felt
cooler that way.
