Gnopix and Umbutu are stick the disk in and boot installations, both 
with automatically configure to your system and equipment.

Quite an astonishing change from XP -- boots much faster, and is 
usually quicker than windows at most tasks.

Either can be downloaded, or better spend a couple bucks and buy a DVD.
