I wish it was on the East Coast!

I wonder what other Diesel engines would fit and mate to the tranny without modifications? I'm thinking about W123 300D Turbo's or W124 300D Turbo's.

I guess those are 601, 602 and 603 engines?
Sorry I don;t know the proper engine numbers, I tend to learn what;s current in my garage at the moment. ;-)
