I picked up a 1991 300TE 4Matic this past summer and I'm loving it a lot. I named it Beulah after the gym teacher in Porky's because it's got a sturdy frame. I got it for almost half of the going price and it's in pretty good condition. The mileage is pitiful around town (16 mpg) but goes up to a more respectable 22 mpg on the highway. Mind you, the all-wheel drive pulls the mileage down and I'd expect a regular TE to do a couple mpg better.
