I was thinking about finding a VW Thing, talk about insane prices!  I found 
one locally with lots of surface rust, rusty pans, seized engine, and all 
this because it had been out in the weather for years.  Rodents had built a 
nest on top of the tank, and the moisture from their urine ate through the 
tank!  The guy wanted $1000 for it, and I kindly told him NO.  I could have 
better luck finding a Mercedes fixer for that kind of money.
