You guys are making me feel better about my own checkered academic career (10+ years as an undergrad with only one diploma to show for it). I have a B.S. in computer science, narrowly escaped going to grad school in philosophy, and recently went back to school to study accounting. Now I'm about eight months away from becoming a CPA, although career-wise in the long term I think I'm headed more in the direction of computational finance. No formal M-B-related or other mechanical qualifications (besides being able to make old dysfunctional electronics even worse with my clumsy soldering, as Jim C. can attest).
