This fan on this works but only one speed. Is that the infamous "probably the switch" thing I always get or sign of something more. We will see...
If it works at all it probably isn't the motor. But the switch and/or resistor pack could be at fault, and both are diagnosable. The plug on the firewall goes to the resistor pack, and thence to the motor. Easy to ohm out.
