[MBZ] La Carrera Panamericana racer

Saw this afternoon an old 190 sedan (is that redundant?), the rounded 
one, all done up in La Carrera Panamericana livery, looked 50s or 60s 
vintage original, all the stickers and logos for some German company (I 
forget now, oil maybe? started with an L), full roll cage and what 
appeared to be Deutscheland plates on it, had a farty exhaust (sounded 
like an arrozer around here).  I followed it a bit as it got off I10 and 
headed into a neighborhood.  It was very cool.  It did have some more 
recent .com labels on it though, so not entirely period-correct.  
Perhaps they have run it recently?
