Just from the angles I'm seeing here that looks like a S Class Benz which would probably weigh close to 2 1/2 tons. That Toyota didn't even have a chance Harry 69 280 SEL 135,000 Miles 72 350SL 118,000 Miles 2004 VW Passat 4 Motion 1999 Mazda Miata -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: mercedes@okiebenz.com Sent: Tue, 19 Dec 2006 1:53 PM Subject: Re: [MBZ] mercedes vs Toyota (crash pics)
If that's a Toyota, it's gotta be like the Corolla or other smallest model they have. I'd almost dare to say that you're simply looking at a matter of difference in mass. I'm guessing the Toy is closer to 1 ton and the Mercedes more like 2. If that's you're theory in accident survival (not necessarily a bad one if you're in the bigger vehicle) then you might as well go get yourself a Yukon or Excursion or some such thing... Or feel free to tell me if I'm mistaken and The toy is a lot heavier or the Benz a lot lighter... Levi Head-ons at highway speeds (in both directions) are a bad idea.
