I believe Cadillac did too (sp?). Big, fuel hungry, weighed WAY too much, as they were simply two straight 8's on an expanded common crankshaft -- twin ignition systems, twin carb systems, the whole works. Hand start too, although Cadillac had an electric starter by then.

Overheated all the time, almost impossible to get the timing right, and not that much more power that the new design V8s that started appearing shortly after.
