I'm betting you're right there, maybe I mistaken the Caddy for the
Lincoln. Maybe that was something of a rumor that Lincoln was going to

Sorry-I didn't make my point clear-according to Wikipedia, Cadillac did

the V-16 but Lincoln did not as I earlier stated incorrectly. I recall

I beg to differ on that one, in 1930 Caddilac had a V16 called the Dual
Windshield Sport Phaeton. It had a 452 cid engine that made 165 hp with a
3
speed tranny. It was made built from 1930 to 1931 and cost $5,500 to
$10,000. Lincoln had a V12 before the V16 and it was built in 1932 as
Lincolns answer to the V16 Caddy. That one was called the Lincoln KB that
had a 7.34 liter V12 that made 150 hp with a 3 speed.
