Did you check the 30 amp strip fuse by the main fuse box?

The fan was replaced by Donald Snook before I bought it, and has been
working quietly and just fine, so I don't think that it's bearings. It
was as if someone turned off the electricity to it.
I keep thinking that the flashing light is trying to tell me something ----

I'd rather loose the fan in the summer, even at 100F, than when I need
it to keep the windshield clear while driving. Cold feels more life
threatening to me than heat, though my wife is the opposite.

Hi Don,
I would guess the fan bearings froze - but don't know about the flashing
light -
BTW, the fan is no fun to replace - the WW mechanism must be removed after
removing the WW and cowling trim.
Lots of instructions in the WSM -
but I paid to have mine changed last August - no fun to lose the AC when
it's in the upper 90s.
