RedLine MTL is NOT appropriate for a Mercedes manual transmission. The Mercedes transmission is designed to use ATF not MTF! Most gear oils formulated for manual transmissions will damage the synchros. The best fluid I've found has been Mobil 1 ATF. There are some people that use Mobil 1 10W30 motor oil (it will damage nothing).
