I drove up and checked out this 4Matic today. It's a very nice example, and
if I were to purchase a 124 4Matic, this would be it. The guy's an MB
mechanic at the Phil Smart Mercedes Benz dealership. It has had a ton of
work done to it, which is important, given its relatively high mileage (for
a gasser). I don't like red interior, but the (blackberry?) exterior paint
is really cool looking.

It had some sort of annoying flat spot off idle or when punching it, the
brakes seemed a bit mushy, and the Ortho seat option didn't work. But
otherwise, it's a very very nice car. I seriously considered buying it, but
I think my wife wants the Audi A4 Quattro Avant I also looked at this
afternoon.
