My 3-4 yr old WXP Pro install shuts down in 10s flat and I can easily access gmail in 70s from power up - this in a patched together box w/ an 800MHz slot A processor.. TBird is a tad longer as it's not in my startup folder. It isn't even a particularly parsimonious install. Tell me again what do I want with the latest and greatest...?
