Picked up a gallon of Zerex G-05 at my local Car Quest today. Had to ask for
it, they only had Zerex Dex-Cool replacement on the shelf. Both bottles have a
nice chart on the back showing what coolant you should use on your car.
Its not for my Mercedes though, I need to change the coolant in my Polaris
snowmobile and figured if G-05 was such great aluminium corrosion resistance
for a Mercedes then the Polaris would surely benefit.
$13.50 a gallon. I didn't think that was so bad in my little town of 7,000
mostly non-Mercedes drivers.
