Donald - the folks at MBUSA are interested in stories about people who
really have a lot of miles on their cars and are working with MSN to get
selected stories told. The lady that works at MBUSA PR shop, and is their
new coordinator to MBCA, recently asked about club members with high mileage
cars, and I got the impression that meant perhaps 350k, but more likely 400k
and higher.
Several years ago, then MBNA bought back a "million mile" Diesel from a
gentleman in Oregon, and displayed it at several venues. We got to see it
at the Vehicle Prep Center near Baltimore, and as I recall it was black,
with enough stone chips in the paint to make the high mileage very
believable.
