Hmmmm

First, contact a dealer or good independent mechanic and order a new set of keys. I would also get a new ignition lock cylinder at the same time, hopelully this is the correct key.

MB will have records, but you will probably have to order the cylinder and key(s) from Germany.

You can probably remove the broken off key with a set of picks -- the cover with the little flap door is a press fit, it will come out fairly easily with a hook. From that point, a sharp pick should allow you to pry the key end out. I've done this a time or two.

Do not use brass keys in MB locks, they are too soft, and will fill the tumblers with shavings, whereupon they will stick.

Lock cylinder is easy to change with a new key -- insert key, turn to position one (unlocked but ignition off), pull key out (they used to come out at that point, may not ---), pull the hardened steel ring off from around the lock, then re-insert key and put a small screwdriver or similar tool into the release hole thus revealed and unlatch the tumbler and pull it and key out. If the key stays in in position 1, turn it back to position 0, remove, pull hardened steel ring, reinsert key, and then turn to position one and remove the cylinder.

Good luck!

Pull the door panels and lubricate the latch mechanism, it's full of hard grease and that's why the key broke.
