Howdy!
Actually, that kind of 'meet n greet" probably works just about anywhere. I had stopped at a fast food place just off I95 back in 87 and was in some car or other - probably a Malibu - and as I like to do I checked the oil. A guy in a W126 parked near by and we started talking - he said he likes to check his oil on long trips also - seems his W126 (a gasser IIRC) was less than a year old - he said he sold his W123 car for $500. Said he didn't want the dealer to get it and basically gave it to a guy who seemed to really like it. He said that's his normal method for getting rid of a car he doesn't want anymore.

I suspect (more likely, *hope*) there are lots of people like this who dislike the whole selling/buying process. ;-)
