Was about 3 miles from house and work (remember the 6 block commute thing). I am in KC. Plant was north north east and wind blew west. Fire was so hot that the plume went straight up to 2,000 - 3,000 feet and then started blowing at that altitude. That was very fortunate. Nice that we didn't become Bhopal II. Chris

Nor was the "mineral spirit like substance" that was covering nearby flying aircraft.
