Anything that can be done with the sender itself? It looks like a pretty well sealed up unit.
It is. The board is potted in silicone. I haven't seen many signs of bad joints on the board itself, the problem usually is bad contact with the socket, versus pins that were probably a hair to short to begin with. Persevere! I've unpotted an amplifier, it's not much fun. -- Jim
